  The service was so bad it was almost comical. Not a single person in line but they still had me wait to take my order, finally after about 5 minutes of waiting some short guy rolls his eyes at me says what do you want. He acted like i personally offfended him by coming into order. Food was good but it didn’t make up for the bad attitude that came with it

  Love CAVA and have had great experiences at other locations. I came on two consecutive nights (here in Detroit for a conference) and on the first night, they got my online order wrong and it took them quite some time to fix it. The second night, the order was correct but the bowl was only half full. Not a huge deal on either front, but I have higher expectations for locations of this chain.

  Lamar needs to get out of customer service. Terrible experience tonight. They didn't prep appropriately, knowing it's a Saturday and there were big events downtown, so it's bound to be busy. He rolled his eyes every single time he had to go in the back and grab something because they were out of it on the line up front. Announced they were out of pita chips for the night....at 6:30 PM, prime dinner rush, how are you out of pita? He kept saying stuff under his breath, gave me a hard time about getting a third dressing on my bowl. When I get the same thing every single time I go. No one has given me a problem about it. You can tell he absolutely hates his job and is miserable, everyone in line felt uncomfortable. Need to have better employees when they're the fave of your business.

  Hi, I’m sharing to report a serious food safety issue for others to be aware of. While eating my bowl, I found what appears to be a maggot/larva in the food. I have attached photos. This is extremely concerning and unacceptable, as it poses a health risk. I only ate a small portion before noticing, but I had to throw the entire meal away and am posting this so others don’t get sick.

  Very disappointed in this location. Ordered lunch to be picked up at 1pm. I work literally across the street from this location so I was there on time for pick up. Stood there 15 minutes before any employee said anything to me. They could not find my order so they printed it out to re-make. I ordered the harissa avocado bowl with pita chips. I was handed a bowl without avocado & for some reason the rice was on the side & I was told they ran out of pita chips so I would have to wait. When I asked about the missing items, I was asked if I wanted it remade, I said of course as I would like what I ordered. They remade it and I was still waiting for the pita chips. Overall I was there waiting 30 minutes only to get back to my office & have even more items missing from the bowl, there is no feta, no hummus, no crazy feta and no corn. I don't understand how the order is still wrong after being remade. I was given a free drink & a free side of pita chips since my initial order could not be located but for my bowl to still be wrong when their print out had all the ingredients listed is insane. I don't think I'll be supporting this business anymore.
