  Party of 14 weekly neighbors dinner out. Reservations taken 5 hours before arrival. Slow down when approaching restaurant asit is a sharp turn into parking. Two parking areas, small handicapped just off road, large area behind the building. Table was ready for us. Good elbow room. Prices were moderately high. Industrial ceiling, no sound dampening. One waiter on duty (5:30 PM arrival) so service was slow. Drinks were plentiful and mid range priced. Conversation was difficult from overpowering bar noise. Food quantities and temperature were correct but no bread offered. One guest ordered grilled fish and didn't receive it until all other guests had finished. Recent calamity resulting in the death of the manager may be the reason for lack of. Staffing and kitchen delays. There are an abundance of dining establishmentd in this area, we won't be back.

  The drinks and food took way too long to come out. We were told they were short staffed. Which I can over look. However, the food wasn't great. The chicken on my salad was dry and seemed old, the pita was hard. There just wasn't anything special enough about this place to bring me back.

  I recently decided to treat myself to a nice Valentines Day dinner at Prime 7 in Commerce....I'd been there several times before in 2025 before the sad incident just before Thanksgiving 2025. I really liked this place and especially loved the entertainment they had last yr, specifically a Billy Joel Tribute band and Bob Seger Tribute band...both of which were AWESOME !...unfortunately, when I posed the question as to whether any of these bands or others are planned in 2026, I was told there are none. As much as I truely want to patronize this nice place, I have to say the food this past wkend was without question the WORST I had ever had at any restaurant, let alone this one. Decided to order the $30 Prime Rib meal...which was SO not what I expected...sadly ! The Prime Rib looked and tasted like a wafer thin "steak-um"...full of fat and grizzle....couldn't even cut it with a sharp knife....utterly terrible. Paired with an enemically small, naked baked potato, and equally tiny bowl of soup of the day beef-potato. Thank God for the huge pile of green string beans....because you know how much we love our green veggies ! The saddest part was that I ordered this Prime Rib dinner off their Valentines Day "specials" separate menu....I fully expected at least what Outback restaurants would have provided. I'd love to see the rest of the Prime Rib this was cut from...you couldn't cut a piece this thin. My only regret is that I should have just sent it back rather than forcing myself to eat it. I'd really like this nice neighborhood bar/grill to prosper but after this experience will be hard pressed to return. The server was very kind and attentive however it seemed she was a little anxious to have me cash out and leave with the number of return trips to ask if there was anything else I needed. Plus, I was informed they were not doing the live bands there any longer which also is disappointing as this brings in customers. In the end, the best advice is to not think twice about sending something back if your expectations are not met. I hope Prime 7 is able to make some much needed food quality improvements . UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW...as of 3-24-2026....SO, I rec'd a reply almost immediately after submitted this review....unsigned, asking me to reach out to another email address where they wanted try and make things right with my bad dining experience. Which I did....and sadly absolutely no reply....no care on their end.....that was months ago...SO, my negative review stands firm !!! HERE'S MY PREDICTION, HAVING WATCHED WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON SINCE THIS REVIEW WAS SUBMITTED IN FEB-2026......I SEE IN ABOUT 3-4 MONTHS, PRIME 7 COMMERCE WILL BE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS...CLOSING DOWN YET AGAIN.....SO SAD THAT SOME FOLKS NEVER LEARN TO GROW.... .!
