  Had a really positive experience at the Jimmy John’s in Clawson. The staff here is amazing—friendly, upbeat, and just great to deal with. I ordered an extra‑large Italian sub to go and didn’t fully realize how huge it was when I ordered it. That thing was massive. I ended up eating it for dinner and then again for lunch the next day, and it was great both times. The restaurant itself was clean, had good vibes, and the employees clearly care about what they’re doing. Awesome food, great service, and solid portions. This place is doing it right. Definitely recommend.

  This place always shuts down early. Placed an order at 8:44PM, arrived at 8:48PM only to be told they were already packing up, and had shutdown the toaster oven and packed up all the food. This is not the first time that this place has been closed early. On several other occasions I have arrive at 8:45PM to locked doors. If you’re going to shutdown at 8:45PM change your operating hours to reflect the operating hours.

  $7.50 for a turkey sandwich with basically two slices of meat is wild. I could tell it felt light when I picked it up, but when I opened it in the car it was honestly ridiculous. I went back in to return it and they said they couldn’t because it was opened. The employee was cool and added more turkey, so no issue with them—but the portion I was originally given wasn’t even close to worth the price. Not trying to be dramatic, but if that’s standard, I won’t be going back to Jimmy John’s.

  Usually good but today seemed way off in so many ways. The lady taking my order was on a separate iPad probably placing a stock order or something which is fine, but she literally made me repeat everything twice. Had the vibe that she could do both at once but couldn’t because I had to say everything twice. The subs seemed off before I even opened them. Mayo on one sub and avocado on another seeping through the paper the second I picked it up. By the way I ordered 3 subs and they just put them on the counter with no bag. One or two subs I get, but 3? Then I get home and the subs have barely any meat and the subs are all toppings. I’ve never had an issue here, granted it’s been a minute. But when you combined crappy service at the register, not good sandwich making, no bag, and no meat all in one time? Something has to be said. I used to get the tuna and it would be pouring out of the sandwich. And the beach club had one slice of turkey throughout. Won’t be back. What are they doing here?
