  I visited Outback for the first time, hoping to enjoy a nice evening with my fiancé. We were told the wait would be about five minutes, which was perfectly fine. After a short wait, we were seated at an oddly large table for just the two of us, but we didn’t mind. We sat and talked, but after about 10 minutes we realized that no one had come by to take our drink order. We checked the tablet on the table to see if we could order through it, but it only offered appetizers, alcoholic drinks, and the kids’ menu—not full meals or regular beverages. As more time passed, I started to feel frustrated. At around the 20-minute mark, another couple was seated only a few booths away. I told my fiancé that if they were served before us, I would get up and leave—something I normally would never do, as I dislike confrontation and making a scene. Sure enough, as soon as that couple sat down, a waiter immediately approached them to take their drink order, even though we had been sitting there for 25 minutes without any acknowledgement. That was the breaking point for me. We got up and left, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

  I swear Outback has thee best house salad! I always inhale it when I get it. Great dinner tonight. Love the Queensland pasta and mom always loves the burgers. Jennifer our server was great, friendly.

  The service and atmosphere was terrible. We were seated in a corner near the door, where you could feel the cold air coming in. The server brought out the water and lemons but the water tasted terrible so we ordered an Aussie Palmer and a cup of hot tea. The Aussie Palmer tasted like unsweetened tea and the hot tea only came with two tea bags but no spoon or sugar options. While waiting for our order, we noticed quite a bit of trash near the hostess station in a trail leading to our table. I asked the manager at the hostess station if the trash could be swept up since it was in our direct view and she said she would get someone to do it. No one came until I mentioned it to Julie, when she returned with a fresh hot tea and another Aussie Palmer. She immediately asked a guy at the hostess station to sweep the trash up and that's when it got done. Julie was the only saving grace to this dining experience. She worked as the bartender and took orders. The server was not very friendly at all and barely said anything when delivering drinks & food. She never brought the paper napkins we asked for but Julie came to the rescue once again. The shrimp on the barbie was not very hot and the bbq wings came with sauce on the side instead of being tossed in the sauce. Outback used to feel like an upscale restaurant but this visit was the complete opposite. Overall this was a bad experience and I don't plan to return to this location again. Shout out to Julie for her pleasant attitude and helpful spirit! Outback Canton, please do better!

  Me and my friends had a wonderful time tonight at this specific location. We have been to other locations and thought outback was just not a place for us. However this canton changed that. Our server, Julie, was excellent with getting our drinks and food out quickly while checking up on us and always making sure our drinks were refilled. Julie made our girls night even better and we cannot wait to back.

  Me and my family went to Outback Steakhouse in Canton on Ford Rd on November 1st. To start off, we were told the wait was 30 minutes but that turned into over an hour wait. We were finally seated, they took our drink and appetizer orders and soon, we had them. Everything seemed fine, until we realized it had been 2 hours and we still hadn’t gotten our food. We had 2 younger children that were beyond hungry and tired. Our waitress came over to our table and said “I do apologize for the wait, we had quite a few parties tonight, but your food will be right out”. With just that statement, I was taken back and felt a sense of non importance. There were 13 or 14 of us but since there were “quite a few parties” that night, we were one of the last tables to be served. Don’t get me wrong, the staff was very friendly, they said what we wanted to hear to get us to wait longer, but did not bring our food even after saying it was ready and they were bringing it out right then. We had plates in front of us that needed to be cleared off so we had no room on our tables, those actually stayed there until after we left. No one came by throughout our time there to ask if everything was okay. And to add to that, the food wasn’t their best. Overall, I would’ve been fine with the okay food if the service was better. And, I feel like the waitress could have said a different excuse like, “we do apologize for the wait, we are short staffed”, instead of making us feel like, because they had a lot of people there, we just didn’t deserve great customer service nor our food, we just were not important in that moment. This visit put a bad taste in my mouth.
