I ordered a little double cheeseburger And some fries You started making my order. I went to the bathroom and came back probably in about 4 or so . Cheese on my burger was a melted, and the patty was semi hot I have some of them like should my burger be hot because you just took it off the grill and he says were you in the bathroom for a little while? What does me being in the bathroom for four minutes have to do with my cheese being melted on my burger. After that answer, I knew just let it go and I just wouldn’t be coming back
You pay too much money at five guys for half ass service And barely wanted to give me fries I remember they used to put a good amount of fries. We got a small one in the bag. It’s just not what it used to be and I just Rather not go back and pay a whole bunch of money for terrible and service

Me, my gf and my son who is autistic went to Five Guys in at the suggestion of my son who loves hamburgers. I went in and I looked around first to make sure there was nothing to trigger my son. I then took my son in. It took about 15 minutes to order because my son is easily distracted. The total was over $60. The price point for the burgers is about 11 dollars a piece so I expected to pay at least $60 for all of our meals. I pulled out a one hundred dollar bill first. The cashier looked hesitant to take it and yelled to the staff asking if they took hundreds. I was confused and looked around for signs. I then pulled out a 50 dollar bill. And he yelled
again to the other staff asking if they took 50 dollar bills. The cashier then explained that they had a lot of fake bills going around. We didn’t have cards to pay because we had someone hack our account so we were waiting on new cards.
If you are going to have a price point that high for burgers, you might want to invest in a counterfeit marker or something to distinguish the real money from fake. At the very least there should be signs up stating they don’t take $50 or $100 dollar bills, so families like us don’t waste our time. My son had just sat down and wanted to stay there and eat. It was very disappointing. Especially since no one apologized, they just groaned and said ok they took the next customer before I had a chance to pick my stuff up and leave. Needless to say our family won’t be back.

We came in as a family wanting to eat dinner here at five guys. We ordered our food I step away to use the restroom. My husband was paying the bill which he pays in cash because most times that’s how he gets paid with that being said the money comes from the bank ….. My daughter comes and grabs me and says that they don’t take cash. I’m in shock as this is complete and utter nonsense. My husband was furious and embarrassed as we were too. The manager “Miceiros” did not check the $50 bill as you should I’m sure there’s a protocol. There is no signs saying that they do not take $50 or $100 bills. Because of “Counterfeit 50 and $100 bills”. And told him that we couldn’t pay. I then went back and paid with my card, Even though I really didn’t have the funds on my card to pay for it. Hence is why my husband was paying for it with cash. And then the manager “Miceiros” Proceeded to act as if he didn’t know what was wrong. And proceeded to assume I was treating the cashier poorly. In which I definitely was not. But re-ordering our Food for our family, and explained to her that this was absolutely ridiculous. Then I called back to get the manager’s name and the corporate number. Somehow, there’s just not a corporate number on hand. I have to look at a receipt. Was told that Mike the GM Was supposed to be there today at 8 and to call early because he likes to leave. Apparently, he’s not there today. And I called at 10:00 AM. I will be calling back tomorrow because The cashier that answered the phone said that he would be there from 8 AM to three tomorrow. We will see. At this point, we feel as if my husband was profiled , And this was not handled the right way, Completely wasting our time, And embarrassing, our family. They did not do the right protocols to check the $50 bill that was in fact not fake. Because they “have fake $50 bill“ But they didn’t even do the protocol to check and see if it was which it wasn’t because we got it from the bank. I will be calling again tomorrow until I talk to somebody, and if I don’t talk to somebody, I will definitely make time to call corporate every single day.
