This place is so unsanitary, I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all cost. The cleanliness of this building is absolutely disgusting workers walk around in flip-flops, showing off their dirty toes on top of that when they need to refill an ice cream bucket if there’s anything remaining in the old ice cream bucket, they scoop it out with their bare hands, no gloves and then repack it on top of the new ice cream bucket, and serve we witnessed this with our own eyes. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life. Imagine how they are cooking their donuts and how they are serving your drinks to the drive-through when you can’t see think twice because this is a huge health code violation and they don’t care as long as they get their money they are all extremely rude in there and they thought I was crazy when I question the fact that did you scoop that ice cream out of the container with your bare hands and repack it into the fresh one appalled the health department needs to get involved as soon as possible and if you want to keep yourself healthy, safe free from any type of diseases and God knows what else do not use this facility

I had an awful experience at this Baskin Robbins; every employee I saw was completely unsanitary, wearing open-toed shoes and even handling ice cream with their bare hands instead of using proper scoops or gloves, and to make matters worse, the customer service across the board was terrible—every staff member came off as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, turning what should have been a quick, enjoyable stop into one of the most unpleasant and unhygienic visits I’ve ever had, and I will not be returning.

The Baskin-Robbins on Ford Rd in Canton, MI is completely unsanitary and I am appalled by what I witnessed. While my family and I were waiting to order, the worker in front of us scooped ice cream out of an almost empty container with her bare hands to pack it into a new container. No gloves, no scooper — just her hand directly in the ice cream customers are expected to eat. When we spoke up about how disgusting and unsanitary this was, her response was, “I washed my hands.” That answer is beyond unacceptable. This is not a matter of rinsing your hands — this is food service, and bare hands should never be in the product. Unless she surgically scrubbed like a doctor before surgery (which obviously she did not), germs and bacteria are still being transferred directly into the food. I honestly wanted to puke watching this happen. This experience was absolutely revolting and has completely destroyed my trust in this location. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get over it. The fact that this was done so casually in front of customers makes me seriously question what is happening behind the counter when no one is watching. The Health Department needs to be involved immediately. Baskin-Robbins corporate should also take a hard look at this location, because this is not just bad service — it is a major food safety violation that could make people sick.

Subject: Urgent Food Safety and Sanitation Complaint – Baskin-Robbins Location ⭐ 1 Star I am writing to formally report a deeply disturbing experience my family and I had at this Baskin-Robbins location. What I witnessed raises major concerns about food safety, hygiene, and management oversight. Right in front of us, an employee took ice cream from an old container and began packing it into a new one using their bare hand. No gloves, no utensils — just direct contact with a product that would be served to customers. This is an egregious food safety violation and absolutely unacceptable in any food service environment. Compounding this, I observed that every employee behind the counter was wearing sandals with their toes fully exposed. In addition to being unprofessional, this is entirely inappropriate in a food-handling environment and poses a direct sanitation risk. The condition of the store itself was equally concerning. The floors were visibly dirty, sticky, and unkempt, further underscoring the lack of basic hygiene and care. Seeing staff with exposed feet walking on that kind of surface while serving food was revolting. These practices show a shocking disregard for health codes, customer safety, and brand reputation. If this is how employees behave openly in front of customers, I shudder to imagine what might occur behind the scenes. This experience not only ruined our visit but has caused me to completely lose confidence in this location. I strongly urge corporate leadership to immediately investigate, retrain, and hold this store accountable for its unsafe practices before a serious health issue arises. Respectfully, [A Very Concerned Customer]!!!
