  Stopped for coffee as destination from the nearby bike trail. Ordered from the kiosk indoors. No receipt. No acknowledgement. Just workers talking and cussing at the tables. After a couple people had come and gone at the counter, someone acknowledged me and asked if I ordered something. She got my coffee. The dining area was small, but clean. Outdoor seating close to the road is more of an advertisement that there's outdoor seating than a pleasant place to enjoy something to eat But on a beautiful day, I wasn't going to turn it down.

  This McDonald’s is the worst never seems to fail! My fries were soggy and cold. I asked for fresh fresh fries. They told me to pull up and wait three minutes. I get the fries after three minutes and they are raw. The only reason I go here is if I’m super hungry and my options are limited, but it never seems to surprise me horrible service, horrible attitudes, horrible food! Just wanted a bite to eat on my way to work, and sometimes my options are limited. Most of the time I’ll drive an extra 20 minutes out of my way to go to a different McDonald’s.

  Always the worst McDonalds experience. Last year I ordered a promotional thing, and the workers laughed at me. Same thing happened to a friend the next month. Today I ordered mobile, they delayed the food pickup by an hour and a half. Tried to get the staffs attention, but no one came up for a good 10-15 minutes. I was ordering for 2 people. Eventually when we did get the food, it was the wrong order entirely, and they let us have what we actually ordered! Food is always cold, chocolate milk is expired. Fries are usually never cooked all the way through.

  From not getting food to improperly prepared food. I'm at the point where I actually feel bad for the owner of this establishment,the pride that should come from being a franchisee and operating under such a globally recognized name is replaced by what I can imagine as shame and embarrassment. A patron should be able to order a meal and eat and that should be the end of the whole transaction but with this specific McDonald's franchise in Byron Center it order,eat,write corporate about all the errors in the order and then renew or rewrite your 1 star review. From missing/improperly prepaired food to the unwilling and rude staff it would be easy for a properly operating landfill next door to offer better food and service. At most places you hear "you get what you pay for" but here ordering any form of upgrade or substitution all but guarantees you will get a naked burger and the wrong number of dry nuggets with the promise of bo dipping sauce. On the bright side I believe the ice-cream machine is operational, so at least this embarrassment to a chain restaurant has that going for them.

  This McDonald's is awful. Terrible. If you asked these workers what good customer service was, I don't know that a single one of them could tell you what the definition is. I've waited over 25 minutes for my food when I was the only one in the restaurant, "managers" don't even know how to print a receipt, no one's ever at the counter... I've sat there ringing the bell for 5 minutes and they didn't even acknowledge that I was there... Like I said, just freaking aweful. I have a hard time comprehending the level of disfunction that this place runs with.
