The atmosphere is lovely. Even in winter it felt like we were dining on a garden terrace. It’s light and modern and airy, yet the table felt private. Our server was very friendly. Areas of suggested improvement: vegetarians beware- there is very little on this menu for you. It is very meat and seafood forward. I assumed being that it’s in Birmingham there would be more than one vegetarian option (would Love to see a house made veggie burger on the menu). We ordered the Brussels to start with. They were good, but not super memorable. The Asian salad was fine, but underwhelming. The chicken that was in my friend’s salad was a lot of dark meat, which she’s not a huge fan of. The desserts were good. We had crème brûlée and cookies. I was charged for a drink I didn’t receive (they were out). This was removed, fortunately. But for a lunch for 2 including the tip and no alcohol it was about $150. Not worth it in my opinion, but would try again if menu changes.

RH rooftop Detroit in Birmingham is an incredible experience from the moment you walk in the grandeur of this establishment takes you and captures all of your senses. The architecture and furniture are beautiful as you make your way up the cascading staircase. Once you arrive at the rooftop the 360 view is incredible and the natural lighting makes for an energetic and inviting atmosphere. The food was delightful and very well presented our server Cathy was excellent and very attentive to our every need she was warm and predicted our wants and needs before we could express them. We had several items off the menu including a carpaccio, the mini lobster rolls, oysters, and the waygu steak all of which were delectable and prepared with great care. We will definitely be back and be sure to tell our friends and family thank you!

I didn’t know what to expect coming to RH for the first time. The gallery was beautiful and everyone was so welcoming. My server Cena made sure we started dinner with the grilled shrimp and crispy artichokes. There was a long wait for our dinner but we used the time to enjoy another round of cocktails and take pictures. Definitely try the pear martini and blackberry mocktail. Our server was very happy to take our pictures to and told us the best spots to take them too :) Me and my family will be back for the seafood tower and caviar chips and dip.

This is one of the most posh & upscale restaurants in Birmingham. Its’ airy & elegant atmosphere is relaxing. Naturally decorated in RH themed neutrals is safe. The roof top view is a nice departure. The staircase ascent is a part of the experience too because it’s near surreal levels. The menu is limited yet sufficient. Personally I found the foods tasty, despite being saltier than I prefer. For the premium price I was expecting higher quality ingredients. The hamburger is a good example, it’s priced around $25 and I was thinking it’d have a nice Wagu beef…nope. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still tasty. For the price point I was simply expecting more. For a lot less I think I’d pick Culver’s as it was only a notch down IMHO. However Culver’s isn’t as upscale or offering libations. I’d certainly recommend if you’re targeting an upscale experience. The customer service is amazing…the food is just good & not great.

I dined in at RH for my birthday Friday Feb 13th during lunch. They did not tell us previously about a $25 outside food fee as I brought in a cake. We sat down, and got drinks. My friend (which I felt as he was targeted the whole dinner, he is a dark skin male) had ordered a glass of red wine. Everyone else got their drinks, and I did not like my drink so I got it replaced. My replacement drink came way before his glass of wine. We mentioned it to the server and her excuse was ‘I thought you wanted it with your dinner.’ Moving on, we ordered our food. I enjoyed my branzino and my friend liked her lobster roll. The guys were displeased with the cut of steak and the roasted chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich looked like it could be served at Starbucks. Along with his Starbucks sandwich, he ordered sweet potato fries. The fries took so long to come out the sandwich was almost gone. The hostess never told our server about our cake, but she use to have relations with my dark skin friend and she made sure to text him a rude message on the clock. We mentioned our cake to the server and she did not properly set up the table for our cake, she actually asked if we wanted plates lol. My friend was missing a fork since they cleaned off the table and he was trying to get a servers attention that was pulling silverware from the drawer and she turned her head so slow and looked at him with sharp eyes and said ‘can I help you?’ With a nasty attitude. He just wanted a fork to eat with the cake… obviously. At the end of the day I feel like four a table of four paying almost $500 we expected to get treated better for a birthday celebration and as a guest in a restaurant.
