He goes back in 20 minutes later to be told our food was already picked up. I went inside and asked, they tell me someone with my name already picked it up. This is impossible. I offer to show them my ID to prove I didn't pick the food up. The woman making pizzas starts complaining about having to remake my food (that they gave away). She's slamming pans, screaming about "Happy Turkey Day" and how she hates people. At this point, I ask to have my money refunded. Another staff member comes from the back to refund my money, meanwhile the original staff member continues to be rude with me, asking why I'm upset. I tell her that I've waited over an hour and paid $50 for food I don't have. She continues going on and on. I asked her repeatedly to stop talking to me and to go back to making her pizzas. She will not. Repeatedly asking ME what is wrong with me. She obviously was upset about making pizzas the day before Thanksgiving and the fact that she made a mistake but took it out on me (The customer) AFTER I had already wasted time and money and was going home empty handed. My anger at the situation was probably a 4/10 when I went into the store but a 15/10 when I left. The kicker, this woman said she was the manager, Val. 😵💫 I really feel sorry for the staff that work with her. I could tell by their faces/reactions that this is common behavior for her. The part that is most upsetting to me was being treated/talked to that way in front of my child. I'm currently waiting for a call back from the store owner but will never spend my money here again.
