As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. So I was doing DoorDash for one of checkers customers yesterday and it took me about 6 minutes to get there. I parked my car and stood in the freezing cold for about 5 min with no one coming to the window so I went back to my car and got in the drive though and the line was real long it took between 10 to 15 minutes to get to the speaker so there customer already waited about 25 mins when I got to the speaker I said I have a DoorDash order for one of your customers and was very rudely told to park my car it wasn’t ready yet instead of just putting me in the queue and making the order like all the other customers in line so I did and went back to the window again and waited in the cold for exactly 6 minutes until someone came to the window asking what I wanted I then asked the young lady at the window do your customers that order from DoorDash go in a que by when they placed there orders or how does it work because I received the order about 35 mins ago and the guy from the drive through got mad and left the drive through and came over and yelled at me and said we haven’t got to the DoorDash orders yet and for me to leave if I don’t like it. I explained I was only asking a question. Keep in mind I was never aggressive in any way and never raised my voice or acted hostile in any way. 45 mins + standing in the cold and drive through line and everything I finally got the order and I felt sick to my stomach for over an hour later and could not dash anymore. Before this I would go to checkers at least twice a week to order food and a lot of my family members would also I was on the phone with my sister when all of this happened and she heard everything that the guy had said to me and says that was disgusting what he did And kept on telling me she felt sorry for me, but I will never go to checkers ever again and neither will a lot of my family and friends. Also, the person that was on the drive-through speaker left his speaker on and you can hear everything that he was joking around with with all of the customers in front of me , and he didn’t even care he was just laughing away. This place is so unprofessional or at least the person at the window was. I hope that checkers gets their act together and considers their customers that order from DOORDASH are also part of their customer base and not just the people that order at the window or why else would they even have delivery in the first place , you have to treat all of your customers the same and I had to keep apologizing to the customer why it took so long. I’m a retired senior and a disabled veteran doing this because I get bored and want to do this to because it makes me feel good helping people

The person taking orders and giving food had a crappy attitude, snappy and impatient with us, and it seemed like he didn't want to be there and doing his job was an inconvenience. If he doesn't want to be there, fire him

The Checkers at Store #3399 in Battle Creek didn't give us our 3 apple pies in drive-thru the other day. When my husband called the employee he spoke with was extremely rude: accused him of being a thief, told him to come back right away with his receipt (couldn't do that), then asked what he wanted Checkers to do about it. My husband went back there for lunch today: his name wasn't on the list for missing items so they wouldn't give him the 3 apple pies. Never again will we go to Checkers! The employees are hostile & don't care about their customers.
