First time here and very impressed with everything. The menu offers variety of food which is perfect for both meat-eater and vegetarian. I had a little hiccup on my food as it didn't come out as expected and our server(Mia) and the kitchen were gladly offer to fix my food or get different food on the menu without any questions or attitude. The night ended up with great food and great service. Definitely recommended.

In Ann Arbor for a couple of nights and decided to try this place since it was walking distance from the place we were staying at and looked super neat. We went on a Monday, but I still made a reservation to be safe, and got a great seat near the window. Food was good and the portions were nice. We enjoyed our night as a whole, but service was not the best. The server seemed possibly new, which is fine, but not checking in and having to wait around for a utensil while the food is getting cold isn’t ideal.

We usually have a great time here but tonight my wife and I went for our wedding anniversary thinking we were going to have a great time.. jokes on us. Our server was very rude, didn't offer drinks one single time, no refills at all, shorted us our lobster bisque that we not only ordered but reminded him and then to top it all off.. I specifically asked for the desert menue and he brought us our check. On a 200.00+ dinner and a noted special occasion.... this was the worst experience I have had there and will likely deter us from returning.

The atmosphere is great, service was good, but the food was sub par. We ordered the applejack seabass and was not happy with it. The seabass wasnt cooked enough which left the middle not even warm and watery when I got the meal. Also a light sear would've gave the fish a better texture but no texture on the outside. The Caesar salad was a disappointment. I would say it looked like it was made an hour prior. The majority of the lettuce was wilted and soggy. The slices of parmesan had no flavor. The grilled chicken breast had no seasoning at all. A little salt and pepper would've been great. The reason for the 2 stars would have to be for the Cajun Chicken tortellini was actually pretty good. It actually had good flavors and tasted quite good. Its a nice restaurant if youre looking for an interesting atmosphere for date night. Not sure about the other dishes but based off of my experience, It might be hit and miss.

It's a charming old building with fun views of the train when it passes by. Parking is pretty tough unless you opt into the valet service. We found a spot in an unmarked metered lot across the street and were nearly blocked in when we returned to the car because the valets double parked nearly the entire lot. We thought we were safe since the lot next to the restaurant WAS clearly labeled. The service was good throughout, though there is a decent emphasis on joining their rewards club. I felt that the prices were quite high for what you got. An $18 bottle of wine costing $100+ in a restaurant isn't unheard of, but it kept me from spending more there. Entree pricing was high, but sounded reasonable if the end result was truly high-end. Unfortunately we did not find the value to be there. No attention paid to finding out if we'd ever been before, had a special occasion, or other similar acts that the best fine dining restaurants do in their sleep. Appetizers/starters were well portioned and tasted pretty good. Entrees were overcooked, heavy, and large portions. The portion being mostly filler and the entree not meeting expectations, it became clear the pricing was more about projecting fine dining than delivering. I'm always happier with a smaller portion of that better allows for flawless execution or higher end product to be used. We've eaten better meals at nicer establishments with higher class liquor/wine for less money. Comparison may not be fair, but small sandy scallops and bone dry steak don't cut it for what is charged. The steak was pretty under-seasoned, which I am fine with, if you at least offer some nice cracked pepper or provide a sauce/jus with the dish to control that on your own. In the end, a couple standard menu drinks, a starter and a entree will cost you about $100+ a person. The ambiance is nice, but not worth that to us. Felt like a place that maybe lost a really talented chef, or trusts the existing team to deliver to a higher level than they maybe aren't capable of.
