    I placed my order using the mobile app and arrived at 12:44pm. The manager informed us that they could not assist until the order appeared in their system. After waiting an additional eight minutes, we proceeded to the drive-through The receipt shows a timestamp of 12:45:19. At the initial window stop, the manager could have simply checked with staff to see whether the order had come through and acknowledged it by saying something such as, “Your order just came in—please give us a moment and it will be ready shortly.” That would have demonstrated basic customer service. Instead, we were advised to return later. When we received the order at 12:52pm we headed home and noticed the fries were missing. I called the location and after arguing with the person that answered that in fact I did just pick up an on line order (she advised me that they had not gotten any on line orders since yesterday) I was instructed to return to pick them up, which required driving an additional four miles out of our way. Upon returning to the restaurant, the manager did not offer an apology or any acknowledgment of the inconvenience, nor was any effort made to resolve the issue beyond providing the missing item. Overall, this experience reflected a lack of effective communication and poor customer service.
