  I ordered the chicken salad melt for a friend who’s convalescing and it was AMAZING!! My friend and I both said it was the best sandwich we’ve ever had!! I also ordered the haddock chowder, but we were so full from the sandwich we couldn’t eat it!! Delicious food!! Highly recommend!!

  My wife and I arrived when the restaurant opened for breakfast. It is hard to find a well executed breakfast anywhere in America, but this definitely wasn't well executed. I was a short order cook once many years ago cooking breakfast, that is what this is. The ingredients were low quality and you could taste it, or rather not taste it. I don't think there is any chef in this place, just a short order cook. If you like subpar food, save the money you will overpay and go to Dennys.

  Quaint breakfast spot with true country charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing and prepared by a genuinely caring staff who are both knowledgeable about and highly accommodating to food allergies. They even offer a separate cooking station to prevent cross-contamination—something that is, unfortunately, a necessity for our family and greatly limits our dining options elsewhere. We learned the hard way that “gluten-friendly” is not the same as gluten-free, so finding a place that truly understands and takes this seriously means everything to us. What truly sets this local gem apart is that their values align so closely with our own businesses—nurturing, family-oriented, and built on genuine care for the people they serve. Five stars without hesitation. A local business you can truly trust, support, and feel good about every time you walk through the door.

  We cannot recommend For The Love of Food and Drink enough — they were absolutely incredible from start to finish and worth every single penny. The service was truly top notch, and the food was phenomenal. We chose a BBQ menu, and to this day we still have guests talking about how amazing it was. We even had a family member from Texas say it was the best BBQ he’s ever had, which says everything. Beyond the food, we also utilized their wedding day-of coordination services, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They made the entire day run so smoothly and handled every detail so we could truly enjoy ourselves. As soon as we finished the ceremony and were ready for photos, they had drinks waiting for us — such a small touch that meant so much. During cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, they made sure we didn’t miss out by bringing us trays of hors d’oeuvres and personally serving us so we could enjoy everything. They continuously checked in to make sure we, our families, and our guests had everything we needed. At the end of the night, they packed everything up beautifully for us, including leftovers and the top of our cake, making it so easy to grab the next day. The level of care, professionalism, and thoughtfulness they showed was unmatched. We truly cannot say enough good things about For The Love of Food and Drink and cannot wait to use them again for future events. They played such a huge role in making our wedding day absolutely perfect.

  We went to For the Love of Food and Drink for the first time today. Our favorite local musician, Beau Dalleo, was playing so we decided to go check it out. What a great find! The staff is super friendly and the food is very good and reasonably priced. We’ll be back.
