  4/24/26 12:30pm...ish A cashier rudely told me that she wasn't open, as her light was on and she was assisting another customer (#5). I went to another register (#4), that young lady rang up my 3 items, I paid with cash and I asked if I could cash in my lottery tickets. She told me I had to go back to the lady that told me she was closed on #5. Begrudgingly, the lady on #5 took my tickets to cash in, while I had my 3 unbagged items and receipt in my hand. Meanwhile the front end manager yelled to me to get back to the other register to pay for my items....that I had ALREADY paid for! Definitely not the Friendly Millcreek Hannaford it used to be... I'm not going to take your crappy attitudes...no way! I'll go to Shaws.

  Overpriced , if you go out of New England and see other chains like Publix and big y Hannaford is very poor

  I had a really humiliating and dehumanizing experience at the self-check out. I think somehow that the A.I. camera determined that my from home grocery bags looked like I was stealing so when I scanned my twizzlers and placed them in my bags the device froze and said to wait for a staff. A staff came over and did not explain what was happening and went through my bags without asking and said nothing at all even when I asked her what was going on. Then she canned another of my items and left without saying a word. The experience left me feeling really hurt and disrespected. Not connecting with people can be so damaging to mental health, a sense of community and respect. This store used to feel like community. I don't know what was wrong with the staff who thought it was okay to treat me that way, but I do know that I won't ever feel safe or welcome at this store again. The whole thing was a really big red flag communicating the values of Hannaford. :-(

  I showed up and there was some sort of protest, I rarely come out because im high functioning autism and me being puerto rican in this country puts attention on me,, a man who works at hannaford kicked me out the parking lot because I started recording the protesters and giggling and smiling even took a selfie and that man pure racist ,, Hispanic male causing trouble ,, took pictures of my plates Update i called customer service expressed to them my concern and worries even told them about my mental health disorder,,, the man didn't care not 1 bit told me im trespassed and to never set foot on their property,, , 7 years i been going here im sorry I greeted a bunch of protesters
