  I had a really humiliating and dehumanizing experience at the self-check out. I think somehow that the A.I. camera determined that my from home grocery bags looked like I was stealing so when I scanned my twizzlers and placed them in my bags the device froze and said to wait for a staff. A staff came over and did not explain what was happening and went through my bags without asking and said nothing at all even when I asked her what was going on. Then she canned another of my items and left without saying a word. The experience left me feeling really hurt and disrespected. Not connecting with people can be so damaging to mental health, a sense of community and respect. This store used to feel like community. I don't know what was wrong with the staff who thought it was okay to treat me that way, but I do know that I won't ever feel safe or welcome at this store again. The whole thing was a really big red flag communicating the values of Hannaford. :-(

  I showed up and there was some sort of protest, I rarely come out because im high functioning autism and me being puerto rican in this country puts attention on me,, a man who works at hannaford kicked me out the parking lot because I started recording the protesters and giggling and smiling even took a selfie and that man pure racist ,, Hispanic male causing trouble ,, took pictures of my plates Update i called customer service expressed to them my concern and worries even told them about my mental health disorder,,, the man didn't care not 1 bit told me im trespassed and to never set foot on their property,, , 7 years i been going here im sorry I greeted a bunch of protesters

  This meat department is an unmitigated disaster. Staff consistently act like they’re doing customers a favor simply by existing, and are clueless about their own products and obnoxiously rude when anyone asks a question. I asked a simple question, my mother followed up, and both of us were treated with the same contempt and dismissive attitude. On top of that, they consistently close down early, inconveniencing customers and showing a blatant lack of respect for basic operating hours. Management needs to stop defending incompetence: fire the staff who refuse to serve the public professionally, and put the managers who allow this behavior on performance leave until they fix it. This level of service is an embarrassment and is driving customers away. An embarrassment to the Hannaford Family.

  Great selection and great service! Needed to find an item and a very young clerk named Hunter went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for very much appreciated
