  So yesterday, my mother contracted a stomach virus caused by ill prepared food sold at Hannaford. I know this because it was the only thing she ate yesterday. On top of the hygiene issues, the store hasn't been keeping to its promises of fresh produce and quality goods. Food produce looks like leftovers, the size and quality has decreased, prices do not match the quality and the supply chain is slow to restock or even deliver in a timely fashion. Many products are becoming less available, the company is lacking transparency and the store is becoming notorious for recall issues.

  Hannaford has products that others do stock. If one place runs out of an item, I try Hannaford. The prices are slightly higher but lower than small convenient stores. The baked goods are amazing. Utilize the curbside pick up and they do a great job, thank you! The times I do personally go in, the lighting gives a warm invitation to shopping. Less of a warehouse feeling and it's where you find folks, friends & neighbors talking to eachother.

  I'm from the Midwest and I can say Hannaford is way better than Kroger lol at least the one I went to is Like if we got what we got at Hannaford at Kroger it probably would have costed over 300 dollars but it was only a little over 100 at Hannaford for a cart full of food. I mean, we got a few slices of watermelon for 2 dollars while where I live it costs 5 just for a bit of watermelon.
