Both mini sandwiches I got, and the veggies from the veg platter all had fruit flies all over them. Not just 1 or 2. They were all through the celery, all over the broccoli, and in between the layers of lettuce. I never shop at shaws and I will continue to boycott. This is absolutely disgusting. Do better shaws.
- MCMelissa CavalaroMar 28, 20261.0I've shopped here for the past 5 yrs because it's the only place close to my home ,however it's a horrible grocery store to start off they price gouge you to death things at this shaws are at most place close to half the price this doesn't sit well considering they are close to always out of stock on most items ,not to mention the constant moldy fruit veggies out of dated other items like the almonds my husband bought me the other day from there that tasted like paint thinner because they were 2 weeks to the past due date. When I'm shopping for food in such an already over priced state I expect the items to have many months before they have hit the past due dates I expect the fruits and veggies to be fresh not soft moldy and damaged I expect ice cream not to have freezer burn. This is the absolute worst grocery store in a 15 mile radius Idk if it's because the majority of the staff of eldery and it's hard for them to keep up with running a store or what. But you can start with dropping prices to a cost that makes sense not prices that belong on the Hollywood strip. 15 dollars for off brand coffee are you crazy 10 dollars for strawberry and raspberry what are wilted it's highway robbery and it's rather disgusting to be honest
