- AMAdam McLemoreJul 25, 20255.0I try to go to the store instead of the one over on Back Bay because it’s smaller and less people to crash into, however, it’s right down the street from the new homeless shelter and every time I go here there is homeless, junkies, and crazies just hanging out on the curb in front of the store and wandering through the parking lot. I wish Hannaford would trespass these people. Portland is a city in decline. But at least it’s not as bad as my experiences at the location closer to downtown. I’ve had my car run into twice at that location in the last month, and someone even took the time to spread feces across my back bumper in broad daylight.
