  Store is clean, floor staff are great as well. Checkout and baggers are very rude every time ( younger ones anyone under 45) . Just got out and they are miserable, makes me dread going in since I'm pissed off when I leave. Don't like thework get another job, don't take it out on the customers. Tenth time I've been in and it always the same. 🤔

  My daughter is moving to the area so I went to check out the stores. I was impressed by the quality and selection. Prices were on par with the rest of the country. Significant local products. Very good produce, meat and seafood departments. Beer and wine selections were great, but then, this is a college town!

  The Orono Hannaford Deli is fantastic! The quality of their food is always top notch, and Bee provides customer service that truly stands out. She’s friendly, attentive, and goes out of her way to make every visit a great experience. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely caring, and it really makes shopping here a pleasure. Highly recommend stopping by the deli and asking for Bee — she makes the difference! 🥪✨

  Went to Hannaford Old Town yesterday afternoon/evening in preparations for my child's 16th birthday. As I was shopping, I stopped by the seafood department to pick up the Salmon which was requested by my child for their birthday dinner. Nobody was there... there was no sign up saying they were on break or anything of the sort. I was not the only person there waiting. After a few minutes another employee put out a call for the MOD (Manager-on-Duty) to come to the seafood department. Nothing... Still waiting. Several minutes afterwards, the other person waiting went to get someone from the deli. They also called for the MOD to come to the seafood department. Again, nothing. There were no Salmon steaks available in the grab and go section either. So I left. Went back today to find three employees in the seafood section, grab and go full of Salmon steaks, and Salmon on display for purchase. So I was able to get what I needed... for $3 more per pound! It would have been higher had I gone with the grab and go Salmon. So, since nobody was there to help (waited about 10-15 minutes) and I had to pay $3 dollars more per pound because nobody showed up (during business hours), not even the MODs, that is why I am giving them 1 star.
