I stopped at the Sabattus Street Dunkin’ on my way back from a drive. It is not my usual location, and after this visit it never will be. From the very beginning, the service was awful. I waited a long time before anyone even took my order. When someone finally did, I ordered my usual breakfast sandwich with a couple of simple modifications. The girl taking the order seemed annoyed and acted like she wanted nothing to do with her job. There was no friendliness or personality at all.
When I got to the window, the young man handling payments could not have been more uninterested. No smile, no greeting, just blank stares. I tried to ignore it until I opened my food and saw that my sandwich was made completely wrong. To make matters worse, there was a hair inside. Absolutely disgusting.
I drove back around to let them know, and instead of apologizing or even asking what was wrong, the guy just grabbed the food, slammed the window shut, and walked away. When I received the replacement sandwich, I decided to check it before leaving. Sure enough, there was another hair. This one was even longer and darker than the first. At that point I was completely done. The level of care and cleanliness at this location is beyond unacceptable.
I took my business to my regular Dunkin’ on Center Street in Auburn, where the staff was kind, professional, and smiling. They remade my food perfectly with no hesitation. The difference between the two locations was night and day.
Save yourself the frustration and stay far away from the Sabattus Street Dunkin’. It is not worth the wait, the attitude, or finding hair in your food.
