  I went to The Boathouse on Saturday night with a group of 9 girls on a bachelorette trip to Kennebunkport. It was by far the best dinner of the trip! They don’t take reservations, so we called ahead and they encouraged us to come on the earlier side. We arrived at 5:45 and were seated right away— originally they crammed us around two tables, but our server, Alrick, added another table to accommodate us. Alrick was just the server you want on a night out- charming, kind, and knowledgeable. He was an absolute delight! He even brought us out prosecco to do a cheers to the bride. All of his suggestions were phenomenal, I mean truly delicious. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Kennebunkport you must visit The Boathouse and request Alrick!

  All the food was amazing but the crab cakes were the winner. Service was relaxed and professional. I think I'll go back for lunch tomorrow!

  3.5 Stars — but I rounded down. I went on a Tuesday for lunch in the off season. I was in a large group and was sat quickly with great service. I ordered the Poké, which was mediocre, the fish was over-marinated and I feel the sauce overpowered the natural fish flavor. The toppings were abundant and had great textual elements that stayed crunchy. The Cesar salad was the highlight with the grilled chicken. The service was attentive and the view from our table was lovely. I gave 4 stars because to me the food was mediocre for the price.
