  Great store overall, great customer service, and great products. I definitely recommend going to this Hanford, the one and only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because sometimes when you place an order the replacement items for the products they don’t have are sometimes unreasonable. That’s all, thank you Hanford!

  1/20 Got evacuated from Biddeford store. NO reason other than alarm sounding. Took my handbag and nice grocery bags and left store. No fire trucks oin 5 minutes. Followed many other cars. Had to call store to find reason.

  Every time I come in here, basic items are missing from the shelves, especially in produce. This last time it was green onions. Then I looked around and the organic section was 75% empty as well. It gets old having to substitute items and think on the fly about what I can use in a recipe instead of what ridiculously basic ingredient Hannaford is out of that day. Also, the store is dirty--again, especially the produce section. I've started going to Market Basket down the road and not only are my savings about 20% per grocery trip, they always have the items I need in stock.

  Used Hannaford To Go but the new app update makes shopping way more difficult and the people shopping routinely make substitutions that just make zero sense. Last order I had asked for two cans of stewed tomatoes. They tried to substitute for one can of Italian tomatoes but I did not want Italian seasoning so I declined the substitution. I called and asked if they really did not have stewed tomatoes to figure out if I needed to go to another store and was told they had none. Went in myself to Hannafords after picking up my order that day because I had to grab a couple of other things they messed up in my To Go order and there were indeed non-Italian stewed tomatoes right on the shelf. If you are going to be lazy and not properly shop the order, at least don't lie about your stock directly to customers. Switching back to Shaw's now even though it is further because at least they are more accurate shopping and have not blatantly lied to me. Like why not include an item on the shelf in an order and then blatantly lie about it? Just feels lazy. I am just tired. I use To Go due to disability and it just makes things harder.
