  I am writing to formally document a deeply concerning interaction I had at the Broadway location around 6:00 PM today. While I frequent this Hannaford, the behavior of the male staff, of management on duty was entirely unacceptable and created a hostile customer environment. His conduct was unprofessional and made me feel significantly unsafe and uncomfortable. From a corporate and HR perspective, this individual’s behavior deviates sharply from standard de-escalation protocols and fails to meet the basic requirements for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for patrons. Management needs to address this as a matter of liability and workplace culture. This was not merely a lapse in service, it was a fundamental breach of the code of conduct expected of representatives of this brand. I am requesting that leadership review the floor coverage for this shift and take the necessary disciplinary actions to ensure no other customer is subjected to this type of treatment.

  First and foremost, Hannaford sells good products. But wow have the prices gone up! Dog food, what they actually carry, was $5 more per bag for the not so good (Beneful) brand than I pay for a higher end (Pedigree) brand that has 5# more at Walmart. I won't bother to list off the price differences but everything I got was at least $1 more. $9 more for the same size box of antacids. To each his own but I don't know how anyone can afford to shop there in this economy.
