  I have tried going back to this Wendy's multiple times over the last couple years as it is close to my office. I just get more and more disappointed each time. The store has never been what I'd call clean. The floors are always sticky. They wait time has ALWAYS been horrible. They will have one register open and a line out the door. I have tried to place my order ahead and still have to wait once I arrive. My order used to at least be correct, andthe food was pretty fresh once I got it, but the last couple visits even that is no longer true as my orders almost totally wrong and the freshness is way off. Not sure I have any chances left to give this location.

  My girlfriend and I both enjoyed hot fresh chicken sandwiches. One spicy and one asiago ranch. Dogs obviously enjoyed there plain cheeseburgers. In a grind shopping or lunch break I would highly recommend this fast food establishment!

  I had a late dinner (due to family crisis) and went to Wendy's in Augusta, Maine at 7:45 PM. I did not go through the drive thru window. The young woman at the counter, whose name is Payton (her name is on the receipt) gave me the best possible customer service I have ever had in most places I visit. She was polite, diligent, motivated, efficient, enthusiastic, meticulous and so much more. As I was waiting for my order, I noticed how she consistently give maximum effort to her tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. This particular Wendy's is located near Interstate 95 and is extremely busy. I noticed that all the employees were doing their best to keep up with the demand, but Payton waited on me and she is a star! I told her right from the beginning that she was treating me with professionalism and that she is doing a good job. She seemed embarrassed by the compliment and I told her that good service workers do not get noticed by the public and they should be. Yes, it is very difficult for businesses to find people who really want to work and care about what they do, but there are customers who are cruel and rude. By showing kindness and support to Payton, I believe I showed her that she does matter and what she does at Wendy's is great customer service. Thank you Wendy's in Augusta for hiring a wonderful human being who cares about her work. Great job Payton!!!!
