I just wanted to take a moment, I don’t usually write reviews but I feel it’s necessary. I live approx 1 hour away from the Auburn location. I bring my son in special occasions because Five Guys is his absolute favorite burger joint. We’ve been several times with no issues. However, last night we went and the manager of the store walked out on the other two employees while there were 13 customers in line to order and over 10 others including myself waiting on our food. Not only did this affect my family and other customers, it put a lot of pressure on the only 2 staff members left to try and cook everyone’s meals, as well as turn others away. Phones were ringing off the hook and they had to give them the bad news. The doors got locked and unfortunately over 20 customers in the time I was still there were turned away. We were told that there were no back up managers to come in and support. I spent $100 on my family of 5. We were unable to get refunded or a gift card because the two employees didn’t have access to the register now that the manager left. It was chaotic for the employees and I waited 1.5 hours for my burger. I wanted to bring this forward because of how unfair that was to the employees. Not just to my family. They went above and beyond and handled it the best they could. I did give them an extra tip because they deserved it. Five Guys is lucky they even stayed and put up with it. Corporate needs to do better or they will go under. Thanks!

Always a great experience here. The burgers are fresh, juicy, and made exactly how you want them, and the portions are generous. The fries are unreal—hot, crispy, and they don’t hold back on quantity. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and the place is consistently clean. It might cost a little more than typical fast food, but it’s 100% worth it for the food and consistency. Five Guys never disappoints.

The last 3 times I've ordered my usual cheeseburger with small fries, something has been off with the food. I first noticed the fries. They were actually very dry, not soft, moist, and salty like they have always been. I thought maybe they changed their oil recently. But the second time, I was again disappointed, as they were the same and still dry. The third time really got me, and if I'm completely honest, the cheeseburger tasted different, too. I'm not sure what recent changes have been made, but it’s been noticed, and the food is not the same quality it was 5 months ago.
