  My husband and I have enjoyed dining at Bandaloop many times in the past, which makes our most recent experience especially disappointing. We began our meal with the mussels appetizer, which were outstanding. Unfortunately, the rest of the evening did not meet the standards we have come to expect. We ordered the green salad with pickled “red beets,” but when it arrived, it contained golden beets instead. This was not communicated to us until we inquired after noticing the absence of red beets. We were told the distributor did not have red beets available. Red and golden beets have distinctly different flavors, and the menu should accurately reflect what is being served. Simply listing “pickled beets” would avoid misleading customers. More concerning was the Grilled Boneless Pork Chop entrée. The pork chop was dry, chewy, and not tender. We each took one slice and could not continue eating it. When our waitress cleared the plates and offered to-go containers, we declined and explained our disappointment. A manager came to the table and offered a complimentary dessert, which we declined — we came for dinner, not dessert. There was no offer to replace the entrée or make the situation right in a meaningful way. When the bill arrived, the $36 pork chop was still included. We had to clearly state that we would not be paying for an entrée we could not eat due to its poor quality. Only then was it removed from the bill. What was most disappointing was not just the food itself, but the lack of proactive effort to correct the situation and restore our confidence in your restaurant. As long-time patrons, we expected better. At this point, we are uncertain whether we will return

  My fiance took me here for my birthday. The service was wonderful and such a beautiful space (love all the plants). We ordered the yaki onigiri as a starter and absolutely loved it. I had the vegan Mac & cheese dish which was super tasty. My favorite part was having a vegan dessert option, but we were too full to order it...next time!

  Had a great dinner here! Very chic and cozy interior, and everything tasted delicious. Many options for vegans, vegetarians, and more dietary restrictions, but also plenty of options for those who eat anything. They were very welcoming to kids too, with elevated versions of kid-friendly meals like mac and cheese on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!
