Somehow, the order was not showing up and despite me still being able to provide a receipt and an order number, the manager on duty with rotten teeth and an equally rotten demeanor, told me they could not provide me with the order since it wasn't showing up in their system. We're talking about an eight dollar order mind you and she was acting like it was her own money. If I only would show my purchase history from the app to show how many purchases and revenue I have contributed to for this location. This "manager" was dismissive and indifferent and then walked away and ignored me the remainder of the time. How does one become a manager being so rude and uncaring with lacking fundamental communication and conflict resolution skills? While this was occurring, other customers were being treated poorly and ignored. Then this "manager" begins loudly yelling obscenities about me and the other customers who were complaining, while she was throwing and kicking things. Throwing a real live temper tantrum in front of everyone. I called a corporate number where I was pushed aside further and told they would have someone call me back urgently. Of course, that hasn't happened but after leaving that message and sending emails on the corporate site, I low and behold get an email three hours later saying my order was "canceled" A simple technical error that has been exasperated by inadequate staff and leadership. And McDonalds workers wonder why they get a bad reputation, it's because of encounters like this evening. Yes, customers and food service are demanding but you're in the customer service business first and foremost. Attitude is everything.
