My husband and I have been and sat in this restaurant two other times and the waiter, food was good. We even referred people here however today 01/06/2026 VERY DISAPPOINTED takeout order and a waste of money on (2) cream of crab soup. Loose no lump crab meat just a little bit stringy shreds of crab with oil floating on the top. I expected better. Definitely don’t beat Jerry’s Seafood cream of crab in Bowie yes I said it, prove me wrong. Due better don’t cheat customers out of their money. If this is suppose to be an upscaled restaurant then let the food reflect. I took pictures just in case you want to debate the truth. Not returning back nor expecting an apology because from the reviews there’s no replies.

I had the surf and turf (with lobster). The steak was perfect, and the lobster was correctly cooked (it didn't get tough.) One of my companions ordered rockfish with crab on top. The amount of chunk crab meat on top was phenomenal.
Reservations are necessary. The place was packed on a Sunday at 5pm.

Something about the way this place smells throws me off. As soon as you walk in it just smells old and musty - carpets maybe? Idk but it’s not appealing when trying to eat the food. The food wasn’t all that great but maybe because the restaurant smelled it threw me off. I’ve been twice and now I know I cannot return.

I went to celebrate my birthday. This was not the type of place I would expect to be dog friendly. But there were dogs present and propped up into seats at tables. I asked to have my seat changed to avoid sitting directly next to a dog and was denied several times with the nastiest attitude before finally being accommodated, after another guest's request. The food was also not great and the steak was not cooked medium well as requested. I would not recommend this spot.

Appetizers-yes
Salmon-yes
Shrimp platter (grilled)- yes
Gruyere mac-n-cheese - absolutely not
Tasted like the top came off the salt when both of us tasted it. Alerted the server for a salad substitute and was told it would cost more...
Spoke to a "manager' supposedly that was working the bar "Donna' and agreed to $2 off for the side I returned and didn't eat with no substitution. Not used to such subpar service especially if the bill is pricey. Not afraid of paying for what we want, but never received "nonchalant poor service" from Ruth Chris, Capital Grille, or Fogo. Tried to support a local recommended restaurant and this happens on my first visit?! Buyer beware!!!
