Regardless if I am celiac or not, I should not be turned down via phone call that I need a special order. I cannot drive because I am visually impaired, so I ask for DoorDash via ubereats. What my boyfriend and I usually do is we call tropical smoothie to make it a special order for when we order it via ubereats. We call first because ubereats doesn’t have the option for special orders. That’s fine and all, so we like to call ahead and like TS know that our ubereats order is a special order, but apparently special orders over the phone "aren’t allowed". The staff should be accommodating to this sort of issue, not turn it away as an inconvenience. Stop excluding those who have a dietary need and allow them to place special orders over the phone. The staff treats me more as an inconvenience than a customer except for one person (who probably got fired for helping me out). I don’t know his name, but God bless him for accommodating. This happened before back in January, and I’m pretty sure you guys fired her too. Please, I beg of you, make online orders easier for people with dietary needs. If it’s easy to do in the store, what makes it any different to do over the phone?
