  Food was superior. Service excellent. Only issue is the loud music. Definitely would return.

  Stopped by yesterday with the girls, I was disappointed mostly with the service. My waitress didn’t even come check on us, had an attitude when asked if we could get a side of sour cream and red/green salsa. Her service was just terrible. However I can say the young man who asked if we’d like some boxes was very polite and attentive. I was a bit disappointed with the food. Food was very bland for it being “authentic” Mexican food. I had a torta de pollo empanizado and I felt like the bread and cheese had an off taste to it, the breaded chicken needed some seasoning. My one cousin had chilaquiles verdes de pollo and she said that the tortillas tasted undercooked, flavor was bland. My other cousin (who goes there very often) got a huarache de bistec and a tamale and she only had something to say about the tamale which was that there was barely any chicken, smothered in salsa so you could barely taste the masa itself….I was not trying to be a Karen when I asked for a discounted price (which I did not get) for something I did not eat. Just felt the need to voice an opinion due to working in the food industry. I know we love feedback so we can make improvements. Overall, this place has potential I just feel their customer service can be elevated and their food could use some seasoning. :)

  Papa Joe's is our go to for great Mexican food in the area. They always have great service and on one occasion during a carry out order, they called me because they had forgotten something in my order. We were able to turn around and were saved the frustration that comes with getting all the way home (20 minutes away) to find something missing. This kind of dedication to their customers and great food is the reason we love to give them our business.

  Papa Joe's has been the absolute go to spot making it the crown jewel of true authentic (primarily southern Mexican affair) for nearly 2 decades now. I meet people from time to time that almost aggressively disagree. These ,"complaints," come from the people who have tried one meal and one meal only, apparently not finding it to thete satisfaction, who then proceed to the ," I went there once, and it was awful," To all and everyone of you, that have come to this restaurant only one time and deemed it as you have. Shame on all of you. This restaurant goes above and beyond. Including fixing any dishes found to be unsatisfactory. The only problem is , if all the ," one timers," actully spoke up instead of staying silent then carring on to write a hateful review, you may know that the hospitality is nearly unmatched. With this dedicated staff, their passion to provide the best quality and greatest authenticity; It is truly THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN CARROLL COUNTY. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS RESTAURANT!!!! AMAZING FROM START TO FINISH. THA O YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING ACCOMMODATING AND STAYING ACCOUNTABLE
