The restaurant is small but that's the only small thing about this place. The service is so attentive and fun. Our server was Brayden, she was fantastic. The food is fabulous. The Crab quesadilla was delicious. The southern salmon was divine. The velvety sauce was extraordinary. The shrimp were perfection. The drinks are amazing and unique. The Corpse reviver is my new obsession. The burgers and fries are great, their smash burger sauce has a kick. Dessert shines. The cakes are amazing, airy, flavorful and light. Not dense or heavy. My visit was amazing and I can't recommend it enough.

First time trying this spot out! We were very pleased to have come here... my family and I wanted to try a new sopt in Westminster and decided to land on LOST LION We loved the aesthetic, our waitress was amazing, I loved their menu choices. This is definitely a "bar scene" but my kids were very much welcomed and accommodated. The "scooby snacks" (chicken tenders) are a must.... they had no business being that good! I started with an old fashioned but was very much impressed with their wine selection! We will definitely be back! Especially for the wine!

A true gem in Westminster! Classic cocktails done VERY well, along with delicious food in a cozy spot. Loved the Scooby Snacks and the double smash burger, and the seasonal salmon BLT with pesto mayo was absolutely incredible. I purposely kept myself from the taco selection just so I could dive in to those on our return trip! So many great flavors, fantastic attentive service, along with a great atmosphere, couldn't ask for more! Highly recommend Lost Lion!

The place is bar like ... mostly pub seating with tables of 4. Larger groups can push the tables together. Menu is burgers and only problem is they allow no changes to the menu items. If you don't or due want something different on your burger you have to order a build your own. The only problem there is it costs $3 more for a burger with less on it. Also if you order the build your own check to make sure it has what you wanted, mine had to be sent back and corrected. All and all it was good, the waitress made up for the problem with a great personality

Experience on January 24, 2026 My sister and I visited Lost Lion for the first time on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She traveled from Hagerstown and I drove from Fort Meade. We were excited to try your restaurant and were initially welcomed by a pleasant woman at the entrance who greeted us warmly and invited us to sit wherever we liked. Unfortunately, the service that followed did not reflect that same level of hospitality. Our server approached the table but did not introduce himself. I had to ask for his name, as he immediately asked for our order. I mentioned this was our first time visiting and asked for a few minutes to review the menu. From that point forward, the interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. Nearly every request or question we had was dismissed. My sister specifically came for the smash burger and asked whether the sauce contained mayonnaise due to an allergy. The server told her the sandwich had to be ordered “as is” and did not offer any alternatives. Later, when a staff member who had greeted us at the door checked on our table, she informed us that a “create your own burger” option was available — something our server never mentioned. She kindly corrected the order at that time. When my food arrived (lamb burger), I asked if there was another sauce available for my fries since I do not eat ketchup. The server initially said no substitutions were available. When I stated I knew there were other sauces, he then listed them, and I requested yum yum sauce. I was charged for it, which was fine, but the initial dismissal was unnecessary. My sister also asked for additional honey for her hot toddy. He responded that honey had already been added when the drink was prepared and never brought any. Because the experience had already been unpleasant, we decided to leave once the corrected food arrived. When I asked for the checks, he brought only one. I requested separate checks, and he stated, “We don’t separate checks, but since it’s slow, I will separate them.” This response was surprising and came across as unprofessional and unwilling. The final concern occurred during checkout using Square. The server selected the 20% tip option himself before handing the device to us. As a former waitress, I always tip appropriately, but tipping should never be assumed or pre-selected, especially after poor service. That action felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. I want to emphasize that the food itself was good, and the woman who initially greeted us demonstrated excellent customer service. However, our server’s dismissive and controlling demeanor made what should have been an enjoyable first visit a negative one. I am sharing this not simply to complain, but in hopes that this feedback can be used for staff training and improvement. No guest should feel disregarded, especially when asking about food allergies or making basic service requests. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, Teresa Peek
