Walked in with a party of 8 and was seated within a couple of minutes (this was during after lunch hours around 1:30 pm or so). Food did take longer than expected. It did not seem overly busy at the time but food for a party of 8 (no appetizers ordered, just salads with the meals that were brought out first) can be a lot. However, I personally thought it could have been slightly faster. Seemed like a longer than expected wait. Smaller tables seemed to get food at a reasonable amount of time. Food was prepared fairly well (6/10) but could have been better. Some steak dishes were served a little over done. Chicken and dumplings were good but watery (have been excellent in the past though from what I was told). Crab cakes were also pretty good (had as meal not appetizer) but I have had a lot better elsewhere (holding these crab cakes to Maryland crab cake standards), I give them 6/10 (the sauce they were served with was pretty good though). Server seemed a little rushed. Knew what she was doing but seemed a bit stressed or perhaps just having an off day. Not rude... more like all business. Could have slowed down a touch and been a bit less stoic/somber. Efficient though.
