From the moment I walked in, the young woman at the counter greeted me warmly and took the time to explain the menu options. I decided on the Whole Chicken Wing plate, accompanied by Candied Yams and Collard Greens, and let me tell you, it was an excellent choice! The sweet tea served was just perfect—sweetened just right for my taste. As I settled into my seat and waited for my food, the owner, Chef Kendall, made a point to stop by and chat with me. I mentioned that I was from Houston, TX, and he shared stories of his cooking competition wins there, which made me even more excited to try his dishes. When my food arrived, I was immediately impressed by the presentation. The chicken wings were seasoned to perfection—juicy and served hot right out of the fryer. The fresh vegetables complimented the meal beautifully, and each bite was a delight. I also came to know that my little brother recommended this spot to me specifically for the Salmon Cheesesteak, claiming, "The flavor is indescribable; it’s the best thing I have ever tasted.” I can’t wait to return and try it myself! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by to meet Chef Kendall and experience his menu. You won’t be disappointed!
