- AGAustin GraffMar 24, 20265.0What an oasis hidden in Lyttonsville. Tucked away in an industrial part of town is a winery that sells local and global wines by the glass, bottle, or flight. For $15, I ordered a flight of three local wines and enjoyed each one. They also sell Greek food and have happy hour prices. There's plenty of space inside and there's even a growing outdoor patio perfect for weekends. There's ample parking as well in front and at a nearby lot.

It has a warm, welcoming community/neighborhood vibe and you feel like you're part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. Great variety of delicious wines and a fabulous food menu (especially the flatbreads). Live music during the week is a bonus. Highly recommend the Urban Winery.

Our instructor, Catey Miller, is exceptional, always challenging us to try something new while accepting where we are in our yoga practice. After yoga, there is a wonderful wine tasting where we get to learn about different wines. I am not a drinker, so they have wonderful mocktails available. The staff is very knowledgeable about wine, not only the pairings but also its history and how to enjoy it fully. Lastly, the community is my favorite part. We all gather to connect to ourselves first, then with the group, as we appreciate the variety of wines available. It is a unique experience worth the investment.
