I just visited this McDonald’s a few minutes ago and had a very frustrating experience. I went through the drive-thru and clearly told the employee taking my order that I wanted a plain fish sandwich—no cheese, no sauce. When I received my order, there was cheese on my sandwich.
I went inside to explain the mistake. The drive-thru was busy, so I waited patiently and even ordered another large fries while waiting. When my replacement fish sandwich was handed to me, it now had sauce instead of cheese, which I also didn’t want. I explained again that I wanted a plain fish sandwich, and the employee went to clarify with a manager.
At this point, a manager (a woman, seemingly in charge) approached me with a rude and aggressive attitude, saying I should have ordered correctly. I explained the misunderstanding clearly, but she continued to act dismissive, even putting the receipt in my face. I did not feel like my order would be made correctly after multiple mistakes, and when I asked about a refund, she responded with attitude even though I was calm and understanding.
The staff seemed overwhelmed, which I understand during the holidays, but the rudeness and attitude from management were completely unnecessary. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
