  I love the store but some of the people there are very rude. I been coming to this Giant for over 15 years... As of recently in the last 3 years i have been followed around the store. Harassed by their self check out clerk like im stealing eveytime i come in the store. It's fall slash winter now so i have a hoodie on and look very young i get that but every time i come in the store. At this point i just feel like I'm a target 1. I'm black with a hoodie. 2.i look young but i am actually 43 years of age. It makes me want to stop going but it's other people like the actual security guards and the actual cashiers and front desk help that make me come back. I do understand protecting the property and a perception but not if I'm constantly coming to go grocery shopping. I wonder how many times they rolled the camera back just to see if i was stealing. Oh I also work in security so i seen the people literally follow me or watch me while im checking out even been accused of not paying for something that Giant don't carry... Fried carryout chicken wings with mambo sauce on them. Yeah i was told i didn't pay for it. Not everybody steal and lie in this world and it defintely shouldn't be based on the color of your skin if you are

  This Giant was a lot better years ago. Back in the 1990s and early 2000s, it was a decent place to shop. Now when I go there, long lines of customers at the 1\open cashier line. Management walks around ignoring the obvious. Needs new management. Checking out Traders Joes on 29 now.

  Dishonest labeling on expired salmon I went to store to buy salmon for my child. The package showed an expiration date of October 19, which seemed fine. However, after checking closely, I realized the salmon had actually expired the day before, and a new label was placed over the old one to make it look fresh. This is very disappointing and feels dishonest to customers. Selling expired food, especially something like fish, is unsafe and unacceptable. I have a picture as proof. I hope the store management takes this seriously and ensures it doesn’t happen again. Take others life serious as well not only the business.

  So, basically, what happened is this: my wallet got stolen late night from my car and debit card ended up being used at a lottery vending machine inside this Giant store on sept 5th early opening hours..Now, reported the issue to the store's management in person right away , but the manager's response was pretty relaxed and not very proactive. He said "why are you here then" i felt so bad and replied "to give you information about the transaction", they should have immediately reached out to their security team or the police to check and provide the ptz/still cameras feeds right away. That would have given them a chance to identify the thief faster, maybe even before they changed clothes or got away. In short, taking quicker action could have helped a lot......#TAKE SECURITY SERIOUSLY #THINGS SHOULD BE MORE THAN PAYCHECK!!!!!!
