  Loved L&L in when I lived in HI and have always looked for it everywhere I go. This one is terrible. Been there twice now were food was overcooked and tasted off.

  The musubis were very good, but the experience inside the restaurant wasn’t great. It was uncomfortably cold—like the A/C was set at 50F. Everyone inside was wearing jackets or sweaters, and the temperature made the food cool down much faster than it should.

  Got a Musubi trio for takeout. Spam, chicken katsu and bbq chicken. It was really good, my daughter's favorite was the spam one. Can't wait to go back and try more food.

  Place was not difficult to find by the signage. Walking in the place had a Cafe style feel with bright colors. We were greeted as we walked up to the counter. The cashier was very helpful and informed us of todays special Musubi Trio - Chicken, Pork and Spam served with a drink fountain (Pepsi products) or a variety of canned Hawaiian sodas. I opted for the special (they run specials daily) with a Pepsi Zero and a Spam and Egg sandwich. The Musubi were the size of a Spam slice and 2" thick wrapped in a full size seaweed wrap (not a 2" wide 'ribbon'). The three pieces were filling. Both the chicken and pork were served with a home made BBQ sauce. Each piece (IMO) had the right mix of savory sweet. I was full after just those three so I'm saving the sandwich for breakfast tomorrow. My daughter also ordered the special , but added the BBQ Chicken plate. She was full after 2 of the 3 pieces of Musubi, and is saving the plate for luch tomorrow. She absolutely loved the food and said we will need to come out again and try the rest of the menu. All in all the experience and the food were great. Definitely a top choice of Hawaiian style 'fast food' 😁!
