I bought Empire Kosher chicken here. I should have inspected it more closely. Covered in pin feathers and didn't smell right. I could have returned it and I know the store would have accepted it. Over all I go here because it's cheaper than other places except I found a place that gives senior discounts.

This store has great sale prices and most regular prices also. They are constantly putting out stock so that products are available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I see a lot of comments about the carts. People were taking them from the property and/or leaving them in the parking lot blocking spots. I have also seen people walk out with the smaller baskets provided and put their purchases, along with the basket, right in their car. The few ruin it for others. There is not a problem with theft from carts while people are getting their cars. I work with InstaCart and am at this store several times a day and nothing has ever happened. It's always a possibility, but, using that as a reason to not pull your car up to pick up your groceries is a stretch. Also, this is a discount supermarket so they are trying to keep costs down. There are other stores you can shop at where you can bring the carts to your car. But, if you want lower prices, there may be some concessions. As far as the cameras, I've got news for you. All of the stores you shop at have cameras these days. Here they are just making it obvious in hopes of reducing theft. I have gone into CVS where they announce over the storewide speaker system that you are being watched when you enter the Makeup department. That is very offputting. Putting screens up where you can see yourself being recorded not so much. It is the way of the world these days. I have worked at three different grocery stores and still spend a lot of time in them because of work. In my opinion, there are more positives than negatives here in terms of reasonable prices, available stock and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
