  I have been going to this Giant for more than 15 years. There has been a wholesale change of staff lately. The previous manager and staff were very good and nice. This evening, I walk up to buy the lottery, I am next up in line and its right before 8pm, which is when they close the lottery machine. The lady that was working there has a small talk with the man in front of me. Then my turn comes and she says, "we're closed". The other day, a nice staff let me buy at 8:10pm, but this lady decides to deny me even though the machine hasn't been shut down at 8pm. There's a vending machine, but there was a line there, too. I feel she should have help me since I was there right at 8 and in line. Very disappointed with her choice she made in the spirit of customer service.

  Once again my experience with the staff in the pharmacy department was subpar. Yesterday I placed a refill prescription on line that was scheduled for pickup the today. When I checked my online account there was no indication of the Rx being processed, or ready for pickup. When I checked the phone in system it couldn't locate the Rx either. Once I arrived at the store and got past the initial cold reception from the assistant, I see the Rx had yet to be completed. Why would you even bother to place a refill prior to your visit knowing that no one will fill the order? To add insult to injury the assistant requested my id not once but twice during the process. I understand that it's required for correct verification, but when he asked the second time, only minutes after the first request, I informed him that I had already told him that. This fact was met with a quick snap back to me that it was required. To me this is no way to treat customers who anyone is serving. I am seriously considering the transfer of my Rx's and my general shopping else. The field of options today is wide open.

  Lovely place and very close to my house. Quality of bakery, butcher, organic vegetables and fruits, are excellent. We love the flowers. Everyone is very friendly. There's a lot of seasonal products that are comparable. They have many organic options. The only downside is that the organic milk is more expensive than other local stores.

  Best Giant store near here. Store is always clean and well-stocked. The employee at online pickup is very kind. I am using online pickup service weekly or every other week.
