  I work in the service industry as a bartender, so I know how crazy things can get and how stressful it is to handle customers. That’s exactly why this experience blew my mind. I waited in the drive thru at the 2nd window for anbout 5 minutes. No problem at all! Then, They had me pull forward and then just left me sitting with no updates, no explanation, nothing. After a long wait I went inside to ask about my order and one of the employees said to me, “do you see how many people I have?”… meanwhile there was basically no one there. Then the manager came over and told me I was being “unfair” just for asking where my food was after waiting that long. On top of that, I was told by the same manager that she couldn’t issue a refund when I explained that I ordered and paid for my food via cash as well as gift card. She refused…..? lol she said she was just going to give me my food…. By the time I finally got the food, the whole situation was so off-putting I didn’t even feel comfortable eating it. I even have my dash cam expressing how I felt like the food was tampered with at this point. I work in this industry and I would NEVER let someone sit that long without at least communicating with them, and I definitely wouldn’t talk to a customer like that. This wasn’t just slow service, it was straight up bad service and poor management.

  They are so slow and standing at the counter asking for forgotten items they don’t even look or pay attention. Terrible service for a long time

  Horrible. Only went because they had a 50% off code in the app. Get to the speaker and they said it was already used which it wasn’t. Wouldn’t let me use another code for 15 minutes. Then get to the window and they charge me for the wrong food then proceed to charge for mine. Refund takes 3 days. Wont ever go back

  It's been so long since I've been thoroughly satisfied with a McDonald's order but I was with this location in Rising Sun Maryland. The soda wasn't flat or warm and they understood what light ice meant. The burger was made with care and not just slapped together like the Havre de Grace location. The onions were fresh and they lightly salted the french fries as requested. Whoever is working there right now takes pride in their work and is very much appreciated.
