Chicken looked and smells burnt how can you sell something like this to customers? The bathroom also was terribly dirty for a place that sells food. The prices compared to other stores are ridiculously high but the stores do have wide varieties of goods and services.

Buckle up and let me tell you why this Giant is not for beginners. 1. There are almost never small carts. Small carts are critical because I need more than I can carry but I can't fit a full sized cart through the aisles with all of the floating islands of additional product in the middle everywhere. Why isn't the product on the shelf? Why is it in the walkway? Impossible to know. Who can fill a full sized cart in this economy anyway? 2. The parking lot is on a slope. I hope you like dents in your car from all the beginners letting go of their large carts at the top of the hill. Oh you want to use two hands to get groceries out and put them in your car? Better use your foot to stop the cart from rolling away! 3. The paper bags may as well not exist. I can't count how many times I've picked one up just to have it rip in half. This probably isn't specific to this Giant but the bags say Giant on the side so you're catching it, Giant. 4. Prices for home and bathroom items are far more than at Target. But I can't shop at Target anymore because I'm a leftist so, here we are. 5. The self checkout is configured with such tight thresholds that I rarely escape putting a lightweight item in the bag without it getting angry and needing to be cleared by an employee. What's the point of that? I'm an adult, I can self checkout, and now I gotta bother someone anyway? God help you if you don't put the item in the bag immediately, either, so you really gotta be ready in that tiny corral to move around your cart or throw that item in the far bag (the area holds like 1.5 bags and if you remove anything before you're done, you get in trouble). 6. Blind spots - in the parking lot and the aisles, but this is worse in the parking lot. If there's no buffer between parking and the main driving lanes, you can't pull up to see if cars are coming. The car repair place always has cars parked right there, too, so when you close your eyes and enter the driving area blind be sure to pray to whatever God will listen that no one is coming. All this said, the employees are all really nice (the few I've interacted with, when the chicken doesn't scan or the self checkout gets angry because I took 25 extra milliseconds to put the item in the bag). If you made it this far, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
