  Let me just say this first it doesn't even deserve a one star this should be a negative Google review. This is the communities grocery store, and for it to have molded produce, is beyond disgusting and outrageous. And it's not just one it was a whole bin and more around it. When I went to go pick up a lemon it literally broke apart in my hand and dust. I went on April 9th around 7:15 p.m., and when I went and told management, he said okay and went in the back. I finished my grocery shopping and was curious to see if he dealt with the situation, because of the Hazardous that it possesses, he did not. This is very health concerning

  My son and I went into Safeway this evening at 6:15 pm - specifically to grab some chicken on Cheep Chicken Monday. That’s their special every Monday. The chicken deals are advertised to be “available until 8 pm” per the posted signs all over the deli area. However, this evening nobody seemed to be working and the hot bar lights were off! We finally found a young man after about 20 minutes who informed us there was no chicken as the deli kitchen closes at 6 pm.When I asked about the signs and the Monday deal, he said they were closed!! A few minutes later we saw a young lady in the back so I walked up and asked her to help us. She was rude, and yelled that she was busy! She grumbled that she would help us “when she was done.” There were several others waiting for the chicken, but we left! What has happened to customer service? We’ve been shopping at that store since 1991! We will happily take our weekly shopping to Giant and Aldi if this is what Safeway has become. Unbelievable!!

  Really disappointed in my son's first birthday cake and cupcakes! The smash cake was cracked in the middle on top when I received it and the design was just bare minimum effort! Cupcakes were also bare minimum effort as well. As I see the beautiful cakes in the glass I know they are capable of the design I needed which was a simple smiley face! And lastly the customer service when I went to pick up my order was trash!! She was completely rude! I shop here every week as I work in the shopping center so thought it would be convenient but instead I had a all around bad experience!

  Safeway in Prince Frederick has the best flower selection of any grocery store. The amazing floral smell and beautiful arrangements as soon as I walk in brightens my day. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The one lady, Kim I believe, is always energetic and has such a passion for flowers. Safeway is my go to place for flowers.
