  I have shopped at this Giant for decades, and usually my experience is very pleasant. The store is clean, everything is well stocked. The problem is the deli. If you want Boar's Head meats, you actually have to deal with someone at the deli. I have had a lot of really frustrating experiences. No one hates working at their job more than the deli workers. Stop by at any time and you will hear someone (A) complaining about their shift, (B) complaining about a coworker who isn't there on time or took to long on break or isn't doing something right, (C) complaining that there aren't enough people working at the deli. People's jobs are hard and deli people are on their feet dealing with people all day. I get it. People deserve grace. They deserve slack. But it gets old every week when it's the same deal every time. It's exhausting. It's predictable, and it's unprofessional. Today was the last straw for me. I approached the deli counter at 8:20 pm (nowhere near closing time). The woman behind the counter shouted "Sir! What do you want sir? What do you want?" I asked for roast beef. She turned on her heel and shouted to no one in particular "This is the last night I close. I can't deal with this!" Honestly, I've dealt with the constant complaining. The loud bickering. The frustrated looks when I try to place an order. The confused looks when I order ahead via the app and no one has prepared it because no one is checking. The long waits because workers hope someone else will take my order so they don't have to. But having someone tell me that I was the reason they're tired of working because I asked for something at the deli counter? Nuts to that. I'm done. Nick's deli counter across the street is a well oiled machine with polite and professional workers. Their deli prices are cheaper than Giant's. There's just no need to subject yourself to scorn just because you're trying to buy overpriced food.

  Giant grocery is one of the best grocery stores in Southern Maryland!! Love the bakery and ledo pizza mini stands 🍕

  Last week during my shopping at Giant in Prince Frederick, I noticed an employee Ashley she was shopping herself for a pickup customer. She was very polite, she told me which aisle I could find it and also asked if I would like her to take me to it, she immediately stopped what she was doing once approached I her asking for assistance on finding the merchandise I looked for throughout the store. (She took me directly to the the aisle I searched in for about 10minutes myself and couldn't find). This made my shopping a lot easier by taking me straight to the item I insisted on getting. There needs to be more employees who provide excellent customer service in a professional manner and quickly as well. She will be the reason I continue to shop at this Giant location. Being new to the area she even asked if there was anything else she could help me with and blessed my day. WAY TO GO ASHLEY!

  The deli had 2 employees. One was slicing for customers. The other was talking to another employee while wiping a counter. Why have 2 employees if only one is helping customers. Was in a hurry, had to wait twice as long to be helped.

  Great location. Great vegetable selection. Great seafood selections. Great bakery, To Go foods. Very helpful staff.
