In my community this is a convenient Safeway, however it is never clean, shelves are more often empty, the fresh produce has been not fresh and often spoiled or left on the shelf after the expiration date. This morning I went into the store and the staff was not courteous, and act as if asking for assistance is a disruption, rather than a service they are suppose to provide. This morning 2-21-26, I was in the store and the most polite person was the Security Guard at the door. I hate that in my community the store is so lack and terribly maintained. This is MD, PGC, and they are the worst in the state. Oxon Hill Store should be closed gutted and cleaned from top to bottom. Start over. The staff should be retrained and Management should be held accountable for the poor way the store services the community.

Waited until 6:45 another told me they just not going to do it and to get a refund form the store manager in the morning. Was very rude also, not understanding, did nothing to try to help, barely even let me finish speaking before I was cut off with her saying “ idk idk nothing we can do” . I had to call the complaint center and cancel my order.
