I know someone that used to work there and they said that there is a meticulous process that goes into making the fries to prevent them from being over cooked, and to make them come out the same everytime. That’s why I really don’t understand why they overcook them everytime.

Several employees repeatedly shouted order numbers, yet not one could take a second to greet me or check if I’d been helped. I finally had to interrupt someone just to be noticed — only to watch as a woman of Hispanic descent behind me was immediately acknowledged while I continued to be ignored. It was belittling, frustrating, and completely unnecessary. The lack of urgency, respect, and basic customer service was unacceptable. If this is how Five Guys treats paying customers who follow instructions, management seriously needs to review and retrain their staff. Absolutely disappointing experience.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
