Cadillac Ranch features a made from scratch menu with a wide variety of steaks, burgers, seafood, pasta, salads and outstanding flatbreads. Couple that with multiple bars, a mechanical bull, and a rock 'n roll inspired décor that will keep you coming back for more. Cadillac Ranch at National Harbor creates a fun, comfortably social atmosphere, delivers great service and well mixed drinks along with a large selection of beers including some from our own Granite City Food & Brewery.
Definitely a corporate-owned touristy bar, but thats not necessarily a bad thing.
The burgers are tasty. "Cadillac fries" are overly battered and not to my taste. The skillet queso dip was good but definitely to be shared with 2-4 ppl.
Chocolate brownie sundae dessert (smores?) was decent but not enough ice cream (single scoop!) for the brownie - and beware, when you ask for more ice cream, they WILL charge for extra scoops even of the server doesn't inform you 😊

In my 20+ years of going out to eat and reviewing things on multiple platforms, I have never given any place or any attraction 1 one star rating Well, buckle up, because today is that day. I'll give you a TLDR then go into it in detail. TLDR: The staff were downright rude, the service was atrocious and neglectful, the silverware / glassware was visibly dirty, and the food was overcooked and dry. Forced tip of 18% for parties of 4 or more for the worst service I've had in my life. Now onto the details.
My party arrived early (before 5pm) because we had a large party of 10. 6 adults and 4 children, one of which was very young and needed a high chair. Upon asking for a table for 10, the staff brought us over to two seperate tables. When we asked if we could sit at one table together, the host said "Ughh are you serious?" . This is despite the fact that there were no more than 5 other tables seated and there were several big tables open. They eventually sat us at one. We sat at the big table and asked for a high chair for the child. It basically never came, the child sat on their parents lap for the majority of the meal. We only got the chair after asking 3 times and it not being given to us, someone went up and found one on their own, only to be told to go back to the table and someone would bring it.
We put in our drink orders first. Once again, three of the drinks didn't come until the END OF THE MEAL, I mean literally after everyone was done eating and we were asking for the check. We had asked multiple times for the drinks to be brought out. One of our members ordered a non-alcoholic beer. When the server brought it to him he said "for the lady", literally insulting the person to his face for getting a NA beer. We were so shocked we didn't even know how to react.
Upon putting in our order for food, literally almost every meal came out wrong. And i'm not talking about anything complicated. Stuff came out with the wrong side (one that wasn't listed in the menu), or NO SIDE at all. Again, requests to fix these things were ignored across the table despite asking several times. One person got coleslaw served to them eventually, but other people did not get their stuff. Nevermind the simple substitutions that we asked for (can we get marinara sauce for the shrimp instead of chilli sauce, can we get potatoes for the side on this meal instead of mixed greens, etc.) that were also wrong. Basic stuff was wrong. One meal came without any sauce or dipping sauce despite saying it came with honey mustard. etc. etc you get the idea.
Any food that wasn't a salad was dry and overcooked. And because everything was so dry, we all drank our beverages quickly due to thirst and dry food. But after our food was dropped off, nobody checked in to see how our food was or if we needed anything until everyone was almost done. This is despite us asking for them to fix the things wrong about our meals (mentioned above), and someone literally going up to the host to ask for a waiter to come over. I think someone even went to the bar to get a drink. Again, we came in early because we had a big party so it's not like the wait staff was busy. We saw them standing around chatting while ignoring us, despite our requests to fix our food / get the drinks / high chair.
I wasn't sure where to put this, but e silverware / glassware was visibly dirty. I mean there was stuff caked onto the glassware / silverware we had to scrape off. Food or lipstick residue.
Honestly there's more I could go into, but you get the picture. Then despite all the awful, absent, and insulting service, we had a forced 18% tip for a party of 4 or more. I honestly considered paying in cash with no tip and leaving. It was so atrociously bad, I'm surprised this restaurant can even get people to come back.
There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this place.

Tried this American spot recently and honestly, the food was worth every minute. We ordered shrimp and burgers, and both were seriously delicious—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. The burgers were juicy with great toppings, and the shrimp had just the right seasoning and texture.
The place was a bit busy, so service was a little on the slower side, but the staff was friendly and attentive throughout. You can tell they were doing their best despite the rush.
Overall, definitely a great experience. If you don’t mind a short wait when it’s crowded, the food absolutely makes up for it. Would go back again!

Sat at the bar and asked the bartender to put the hockey game and about 30 mins later she put the game on. Ordered two drinks and an order of fried pickles. The bartender told me give her a minute and we never received our fried pickles because she never put them in. My drink was empty and she never asked if I wanted another one. The bar wasn’t busy and I don’t understand the poor service my girlfriend and I received. Please go somewhere else.

My recent experience at Cadillac Ranch was extremely disappointing and fell well below expectations in both service and overall quality.
From the start, our order was repeatedly incorrect, requiring multiple corrections that disrupted what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, these issues were not handled with the level of attentiveness or professionalism one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
What stood out most was the response from the manager, Martin, whose approach to customer service was particularly concerning. Rather than addressing the situation with care and accountability, his demeanor came across as dismissive and unhelpful, ultimately escalating the frustration instead of resolving it. Effective management is critical in situations like this, and this experience reflected a significant gap in leadership and customer care.
Between the repeated mistakes and the lack of proper resolution, this visit left a lasting negative impression. There is clear room for improvement in both operational execution and customer service standards. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes steps to address these issues, as guests deserve a far better experience. To the GM, you have a nice place don’t let the reputation slip.
