On October 28, 2025 I purchased 2 coupons worth $20 each from the Local Flavor in which 1 of them was a birthday present for my daughter. I was told by the cashier/clerk that they would honor only between $10-$15 not the $20 advertised on the coupon because the owner said he wasn’t honoring it any longer. The second coupon the cashier refused to honor completely and when he mentioned the owner he said that I could speak to him however he was out of the country. After several back and forth respectful banter between the cashier and I he honored the 1st coupon fully ($20.00)that my daughter had for her birthday…we purchased 2 items (1 Dubai strawberry cup and 1 muffin total $20.63) I went on the website where I purchased the coupons and it is still currently available to purchase. Why was this acceptable and why should this be permitted? Was there another reason why my other coupon was completely refused and the cashier told me to contact the local flavor department. I did they are open for live conversation M-F….an e-mail was sent follow up tomorrow. Disappointment……

I appreciate the person who warmed it up at the front. Overall, the experience was enjoyable; I love the atmosphere and the way the store looks.
