There is always a lady at self check out when I get off of work to go buy things. shes always been a bit rude or stand off-ish but I didn’t realize til today Nov 17th thst i was being treated differently. She helped me with my items then when finished i said thank you.. I was ignored but I didn’t really notice then I said have a blessed night, no response. Then someone else (an elderly man) said goodnight she replied to him so I thought maybe she didn’t hear me so I turned around to say it again but guess what? I was ignored to my face! Obviously that genuinely hurt me especially with what I was going through so I asked for her name ofn the tag and she smiled while showing me. The only Safeway in the area so ofc I have to constantly deal with this as a young African American but it’s not fair or nice.
