  very organize item and its easy to find and every aisle is telling you the right item that you looking for, for the associate they really helpful at the floor,they willing to help you what your looking for but except for the self check out not all the time nice and friendly not smiling sometimes you will encounter rude associate if you needed help,i encounter for the first time races associate not fair as a shoppers at this store thats why you really feel not comfortable,if someone at the self checkout is nice,friendly and smiling of course were going to comeback to the store all the time....

  Who manages this store? Iron Maiden? Headbanger music blasting out of the in-store audio system at 10:30 in the morning.

  A lady who goes by tsh or Tish is very rude and I have never had bad costumer service here till now and she was very unprofessional

  This is another safeway I Like. This one is across the street from the Olney town Center Village . Its two stories high . I has an indoor and outdoor garage parking area . Inside they have the grocery store part . They have a huge customer service desk where Manaers and Associates help others. They have two rows of Cashier registers . They have different department areas such as Produce , Deli , Bakery , Grocery and more. They have a good crew plus a Starbucks area . But the Management could use some brushing up on people Skills when hiring others such as myself for jobs we we all want . The ast ones I encountered were blinded by bad Judgment and Bad Politics without seeing and knoe things we can do to be good assets for the jobs there . The management needs to get to a human level and show better people skills when interviewing and getting to know staff and customers. Safeway is supposed to be about making a difference and giving back to our communities and making them feel welcomed, At Home , And make them feel like family as it should and must be again . I think fir sone time corporate industries lost their ways since the pandemic to whats happening in thix dark uncertain world. That is why i gave only 4 stars not 5 .

  I visited this location on 12/8/25 just before 3pm. I had items in my cart from an another store. The cashier at register 3 asked after she finished scanning the items on belt “what about those.” I said; “I brought the items into the store.” She asked 3 more times about the items; I then replied “scan the items.” The cashier looked amazed! The items were not able to scan. I’m not sure why my response wasn’t valid enough. I hate to mention race to justify the cashier’s doubt. No one should ever feel discriminated against during a simple grocery check out transaction but today I felt like the color of my skin played the only role in the cashier doubt in my response. The cashier left me at register and went over to another employee to verify if I did walk into the store with the items. I’m not sure what the outcome would have been if the employee wasn’t a witness.
