  This is a full concept Panera. That means it has a self order station, regular counter ordering and a drive through. If you've been to a Panera you know their food is good, prepared to order and therefore takes time. NOT the environment for a drive through. I met a friend for lunch here and initially could not get into the parking lot because of the drive thru line. I was forced to go around the back of the restaurant and park quite a distance away to go inside. The food and the service were great and up to the usual Panera quality and freshness levels. I only gave four stars because of the ridiculous drive through.

  The Mac and cheese tasted like it wasn't cooked and the fontega chicken sandwich was more like eating just plain bread since it had tiny amount of chicken. Panera has fallen off.

  So I used to get my breakfast here every morning, but the we went through a whole week l(last week), where I just kept getting old sandwiches. Either that or it was just old bacon. Like it was make the day before, reheated and it tastes like the fridge. As much as I pay for it I expect the bacon to at least be made same day. We won't even talk about the cross contamination of allergens.🤦🏾‍♀️

  They are very skimpy on the portions for the price. I ordered their French dip one time and the manager put sprinklets of beef on it like it was going to be cut into hors d'oeuvres. I returned it because I’m not going to pay for anything I don’t think is to my personal satisfaction and liking. Another day i seen the kid with the locs fix a sandwich and as he was giving it to the cashier in drive through, he dropped the sandwich and picked it up. Then gave it to the cashier to put into the bag. I’m an a ServSafe Food Safety Manager level II instructor. That clearly was a food contamination violation. Then. When I said something to the cashier, she disregarded what I said and I feel bad for the person behind me in drive through that got that sandwich. Wrapped or not, it contaminated the rest of the food. They don’t wrap the bread and if they had bread in that bag, that bread got floor bacteria and other contaminates on it. So now I go in instead of drive thru. They also are skimpy on the soup portion. I ask for a not more. They said no. I got my refund. But they were eating up all the inventory the whole time I’m there. I’m a paying customer. If I ask for extra soup to satisfy my ideal of what I’m paying for, then it shouldn’t be an issue. I brought it up to the manager and he defended his employees eating up all the inventory because they asked but said they are following the company guidelines. When I say they were snacking consistently, I’m not talking about a little or whatever. I mean basically I see why their prices are so high and they are so skimpy with portions. So they can balance out what they eat to what they serve. Give the customers less so they can eat for free all day it seems. I own a restaurant myself also. I don’t argue with my customers. I give them enough to keep them coming back. I didn’t ask them to double. Just add another scoop. Not give me a half a bowl.
