- TVThe Tapang VlogsMar 20, 20263.0I ordered through door dash so I wouldn't know about service or atmosphere. I ordered egusi stew with goat and pounded yam.. jollaf rice with a small side of stew ( red) jerk chicken.. and mash red pepper. If im being honest. The mashed red pepper was thee best tasting thing I ordered. It's almost like a salsa and it was just soo flavorful and the best spice! medium heat for sure. It looks unassuming but man its tasty. I would buy it on the side to make uplift any of the dishes with a nice kick. The egusi goat stew was a 3/5 for me. First time trying it and the goat wasn't tender. It seemed like it was seared and then cooked but not cooked long enough for it to be tender. I got a few fatty pieces and skin and fat which I didnt really care for. The entire things was okay nothing memorable. The jollaf rice was COLD. Did not seem freshly made and super super dry and hard in some pieces. The doordasher picked up and came straight to me so i dont understand why my food was cold when arriving . Jerk chicken was dry and bland.. it was not good..The mashed red pepper is what you want to use on that to make it edible... I've been wanting to try this food for sooo long seeing it on tik tok. Ive been waiting and reading reviews on restaurants to choose so I can choose a restaurant that does the food well. This place had some mix reviews but good rating I give this place a 3/5... I wouldnt return. Negril does some amazing jerk chicken... Only thing I'd return for is the mashed red pepper. Im glad I got to try it but because the food did not stand out and was mediocre in flavor, taste, texture, temperature.. I would not return unfortunately...The seemed like it was all reheated and not made fresh. You can tell with the texture ..

My order was ready 10 minutes earlier than expected and the food was outstanding. Let's just say I inhaled everything on my plate. Will certainly be back! Thank you.
